Privacy Choices

Markdown Kit is local-first, so most controls are inside the app or your device settings.

Delete Local App Data

• Delete Markdown files, notes, summaries, and collections inside the app.
• Clear AI API keys from Settings by removing the saved key value.
• Uninstall Markdown Kit to remove app-local data according to your operating system behavior.

Control AI Data Sharing

AI features only run when you add an API key and choose an AI action. Remove your OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini API key from Settings to stop using that provider from Markdown Kit.

Control Ads And Identifiers

Manage advertising personalization and device advertising identifiers in your iOS or Android settings. Where consent is required, review and update choices through the consent controls shown by Google or the app.

Support And Issue Reports

If you submit data through GitHub Issues, manage or delete it through GitHub. For private requests, email support@phonekit.app.

Third-Party Requests

Requests to delete or manage data already sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Firebase, GitHub, Apple, external websites, or other apps should be made through those services' own privacy tools or support channels.
